Carnival Procession
Why not join in the Carnival Parade? It’s free to enter and great fun. Opposite are details of the various entry classes. All you have to do is choose which class you’d like to enter and assemble on the West Green by 5:30pm. Flag markers will indicate the assembly point for each class.
Judging begins at 5:45pm, with prizes for entries placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd for each class. Once the judging is complete, the Carnival Marshall will direct you to join the procession.

PLEASE TAKE CARE WHIST THE CARNIVAL PROCESSION IS MOVING,
PAYING PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO YOUNG CHILDREN.
LARGE VEHICLES AND TRAILERS ARE
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS WHEN MOVING.
TO AVOID INJURY PLEASE STAND CLEAR OF THE PROCESSION
AND DO NOT TRY TO CROSS THE ROAD BETWEEN
TWO FLOATS, EVEN IF THEY ARE STATIONARY.
Please note: All Cups and Trophies are challenge prizes and remain the
property of St. Helens Sports and Carnival Committee unless otherwise stated, cups will be awarded to the best Isle of Wight entry in each class.
